Located in the heart of downtown Banff, the Banff Avenue Mall redevelopment focused on revitalizing a high-traffic commercial property to enhance tenant functionality, street presence, and the overall visitor experience. The project reimagined the façade to better engage the pedestrian realm, introduced outdoor dining opportunities on the second level, and reconfigured the ground floor into three evenly sized retail bays for improved leasing flexibility.

The redevelopment extended beyond the public-facing areas to include strategic upgrades to back-of-house operations, including shared service corridors and a rear loading elevator for all tenants. The lower level office and retail spaces were refreshed with upgraded base building finishes and a redesigned entry, creating a more welcoming and professional environment for both tenants and customers.

Exterior improvements were carefully designed to support the Banff streetscape, including the addition of upper-level decks for restaurant seating, sheltered main floor entries, and a new architectural lighting strategy that highlights both the street-level retail and upper dining areas.
