Emeryville Craft Brewing & Distilling was envisioned as a destination-scale adaptive reuse project, transforming a former commercial office site in northeast Calgary into a vibrant, multi-tenant hub for craft brewing, distilling, and food service. The concept leveraged shared infrastructure, production support spaces, and public amenities to lower barriers for emerging tenants while creating a cohesive and engaging visitor experience.

The design prioritised flexibility, operational clarity, and inclusivity, allowing patrons to move seamlessly between tenants while enjoying shared seating areas and food service offerings that address regulatory requirements for alcohol service. Exterior and interior concepts were developed in parallel to reinforce brand identity, transparency of process, and a strong sense of place
